People living through this century can no longer deny the fact that technology has the ability to transform things into its sophisticated version, and it has also changed almost all life aspects. Art is one of the examples. The practice of art has gone through a series of quite drastic changes, leading to a state where digital skills have gained more popularity than the conventional ones. Sculptures, for instance, have turned from carving-and-molding techniques into digital sketching and automatic shaping using machines. While traditional artists assume that the new practices have massively decreased the essence of art itself, many modern artists seem to disagree with the statement, stating further that it is indeed a new way offering easier executions.

Despite all debates, the new practice has indeed been more popular than the conventional ones. Fortunately, the easy and simple process seems to be following today’s situation where people demand instant and fast process. Several new subjects in the field have also risen to prove that the use of the advanced inventions has been an integral part of society. From Photoshop to canvas printing, these new subjects are ready to take over the whole field.

The New Equipment

One of the most basic differences between traditional and modern artists is the way how they perform their ability to produce a masterpiece. Traditional people tend to use traditional tools and materials to create statues, paintings, and house designs. These people use cement, rocks, and traditional canvas made of cotton. As you can guess, they also rely heavily on the conventional and manual process. In short, they do things by themselves without getting involved in any sort of automatic sketching.

Modern artists, on the other hands, rely more on the use of digital devices, such as computers and Autodesk Sketchbook. Although the two categories produce the same type of arts, they get involved in different ways and processes. The discussion about the equipment used is not only limited on how they perform their artistic projects, but it also includes the way hoe they showcase their works. Today’s painters, for instance, tend to use card swipe coins to exhibit the painting. It requires people to insert a card or a coin to see the picture.

The Sales

The fact that online marketing has worked wonder for businesses, it also applies to those artists selling their works through the Internet. People used to assume that artists will not make a lot of money unless they make a magnificent masterpiece that people adore. Fortunately, the assumption is no longer valid today as they can earn a lot of money by selling the crafts online.
